Seneca County
Seneca County is located in Northwest Ohio and according to the 2020 census, is home to over 55,000 residents. Tiffin, OH serves as the county seat, but Seneca County stretches over and serves the cities of both Tiffin and Fostoria, as well as many villages in the area. Covering 553 sq. miles, 80% of the land is farm land, 10% woods, and 10% developed areas. Seneca County was created in 1820 and officially organized in 1824. It is named for the Seneca Indians, the westernmost nation of the Iroquois Confederacy, which was based in present-day New York but had a territory into Pennsylvania and Ohio. Seneca County offer unique and memorable experiences and its beauty is sure to please anyone who crosses its path!
