Shaping Tomorrow’s Leaders Since 1929
Camp Fire Northwest Ohio provides engaging, accessible programs and experiences that empower all young people to discover their purpose and positively impact their homes, schools, workplaces, and communities.
Camp Fire Northwest Ohio provides boys and girls, ages 6-18 with opportunities for personal growth that allow them to be assets to their own community as they gain leadership skills and grow in self-reliance. We serve Hancock, Seneca, and Wood Counties with our In-School Programs, Clubs, Activities, and Camp. Camp Fire NWO relies on local funding from the United Way, corporate and individual giving, along with state and national grants. The number of children we serve directly correlates to our funding. We continuously strive to fund-raise and seek funding sources to maintain and expand our reach in the communities we serve. We diligently work to be good stewards of our resources- including our future community leaders.
Founded in 1910, Camp Fire has long since been one of the leading not-for-profit youth development organizations in the nation. Camp Fire Northwest Ohio has served as a part of Hancock County since 1929. For almost 100 years, Camp Fire has actively engaged the youth and teens of our communities in building essential skills for life. In Camp Fire, it begins now.
Located on the banks of the Sandusky River south of Tiffin, OH, Camp Glen has unusually hilly terrain that is ideal for hiking and experiencing the beauty of the great outdoors and a full range of exciting team-building activities.
